Integrated Workplace Design
Once we have identified the risky tasks within a specific job, we can quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of potential interventions under realistic conditions. This approach also allows us to understand the tradeoffs of different solutions so that we can ensure that we are not solving one problem only to create a new one.
Companies often have a difficult time finding the right equipment configuration for their workplace. Over many years, the Spine Research Institute has developed intimate partnerships with OEM suppliers such as Columbus McKinnon and Stanley to help connect companies to suppliers that can get them the equipment they need. By combining our expertise in ergonomics and our suppliers' cutting-edge products, we are able to provide custom integrated workplace designs that optimize both productivity and employee safety.
