Research Program

NSF - National Science Foundation

The Spine Research Institute has established a comprehensive research program devoted to improving the way spine and other musculoskeletal disorders are understood, prevented, and treated.

SRI is an official site for the National Science Foundation (NSF) Center for Disruptive Musculoskeletal Innovations (CDMI)

The convergence of research, engineering, healthcare, and industry

Low back and neck pain are complicated problems that span across a variety of disciplines. At the SRI, we approach these disorders from a systems perspective to better understand underlying causal pathways and provide real-world solutions for those in need.
